Introduction to the Division /Function:
Digital Engineering is Thermo Fisher’s “Software Engineering” centre of excellence in Bengaluru. This centre of excellence provide the world-class software and cloud computing service that the scientific community demands. Cloud computing is a recent technological development with the potential to significantly change lab workflows and facilitate access to powerful data analysis techniques. It will serve as an extension of Thermo Fisher’s Software R&D teams while enhancing its responsiveness to the needs of customers globally.
Role Description
As a senior developer you will Installers for develop desktop and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive development experience in Microsoft Technologies. the .Net Developer designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements Installers using WIX and C#; works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.

BE/BTech or equivalent in computer science, electrical/electronics engineering, or related field is required, with a minimum of 5+ years of directly related work experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
5 Years+ experience building and managing Wix installers for Windows applications using agile and scrum Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including C#, Wix Toolset Design, code and test Windows and web software applications Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement Maintain existing Installers by identifying and correcting software defects Investigate and develop skills in new technologies Create technical specifications and test plans Experience with cloud hosted applications (i.e. AWS, Azure) is a plus
